Yerewada Crematorium

The Maharastra government has built air pollution control systems in Pune’s different crematoriums to replace the traditional open-burning system with an efficient one to complete your final farewell ceremony in peace. The system’s primary purpose is to reduce pollution. In this facility, the gas created by burning the body is discharged into the atmosphere through the facility; here, before discharging the gas to the atmosphere, the carbon content in the gas is absorbed by water treatment at the exhaust. This technique may help the crematorium save a lot of resources and expenses. The Vaikuntha, Hadapsar, Katraj, Yerewada, and Kailas crematoriums have the system in place.
