The thirteenth day, also known as Terahvin, represents the final day of the period of mourning, as defined by the Hindu Shastras. In accordance with traditional traditions, the spirit begins on a journey to merge with God after releasing itself from all ties and links with the family. A brahman Bhoj ceremony, puja or havan by a pandit, as well as a dinner for family and friends are all performed as part of the celebration of this lovely day.
